The purpose of this event - organised together with the Cyprus Presidency of the Council of the EU, the EU Commission and the Swiss Federal Veterinary Office - is to exchange information on the ways that exotic animals enter the EU market and end up in the different EU countries; to point out the challenges for animal health and welfare and the possible impact on public health. The seminar will be followed by a Networking reception. Deadline for registration: 15 September 2012.
