EMA/FVE WEBINAR FOR VETERINARY HEALTHCARE PROFESSIONALS ON DATA COLLECTION ON SALES AND USE OF ANTIMICROBIALS IN THE EU

The European Medicines Agency (EMA) and the Federation of Veterinarians of Europe (FVE) are organising a joint webinar for animal health professionals on 24 November 2021, 14:00-15:30 CET.
The event, to be held via Webex, focuses on data collection on sales volumes and on the use of antimicrobials in animals in the European Union (EU) and its implications for animal health professionals.
With speakers representing national competent authorities and animal health practitioners, the webinar will provide an opportunity to learn from the experience of Member States with setting up systems for data collection on sales and the use of antimicrobials in animals, including an ongoing project on collection of antimicrobial sales and use data and European Surveillance of Veterinary Antimicrobial Consumption.
Registered participants can ask questions to a multi-stakeholder panel representing animal health professionals, veterinary national competent authorities and EMA.
Participants can also watch the live broadcast available on the event webpage on 24 November, for which no registration is needed.
